Living in Brighton and Hove

Date: 24/09/2005

ippr’s People and Policy team and the Centre for Cities created a space for Brighton and Hove residents to engage in a lively discussion about their area.

We held a public involvement event on the eve of the Labour Party conference, so that the findings could be fed into debates at the conference – and into the Centre for Cities’ future research. The aim was to give local residents the opportunity to talk about what it feels like to live in Brighton and Hove, their views on the city’s economy and services and their experience of party conferences.
