Ireland had the least impressive economic performance in Western Europe until the last decade of the twentieth century. In the last 15 years, a national effort has emerged which has engineered recovery and growth. This conference asked whether this growth is sustainable, and looked at how Dublin has responded in comparison to other European cities such as London.
