Finance and Audit Committee

The Finance and Audit Committee assists the Board of Trustees of the Centre for Cities in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities relating to finance and audit matters delegated to management by the board. 

The Committee advises the Board by reviewing financial reporting, overseeing the budgets and the system of internal controls and risk management.  In particular, the FAC recommends to the Board the appointment of external auditors, and reviews the audited financial statements prior to submission with recommendations to the Board. The FAC also reviews governance processes to enable the Charity to implement best practice as set out in appropriate guidance.

The Finance and Audit Committee members are:  Stephen Ashworth (chair) and Susan Hitch.
